Bot clicks are automatic interactions with emails, such as automatic opens and link clicks that are not made by your subscriber but by a machine. These automatic clicks could be caused by a security or privacy setting in the subscriber’s inbox. Security scanners will automatically click every link in your email to check for malicious content, while some privacy protection systems (such as Apple's Mail Privacy Protection) preload all links in an email, resulting in open and click metrics.
