Before making your Workflow live for all people in your account, you can perform a test run to see how people will move through the Workflow once ready to launch. This process involves editing the Trigger Filter to only accept your approved test email address or addresses, then performing the Trigger Action to enter the Workflow and move through it as a subscriber would.
To start, simply click into your Trigger to edit the Trigger Filter section under “Who will this affect?”:
Within those filters, you can add an email address directly or refer to a group of emails in a Saved Segment:
People cannot enter Workflows unless they’re turned ON. Once your Trigger Filters are set up, activate the Workflow and run your test profiles through the actions needed to trigger the Workflow.
Once you are done testing, you can remove those Trigger Filters to make your Workflow live for all people in your account.
