Connect Drip and LoyaltyLion

LoyaltyLion is a data-driven loyalty and engagement platform that powers ecommerce growth through loyalty points and rewards. Connect LoyaltyLion with Drip to use loyalty data to personalize your email & SMS marketing campaigns.

Setup Instructions

To install the Drip LoyaltyLion plugin:

  1. Within a Drip account, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select the LoyaltyLion integration icon to access the instructions page.
  3. Click the Connect button. You will be redirected to LoyaltyLion, and must sign in if you aren’t already.
  4. Review the permissions and click Authorize to complete setup.

Currently, you can connect a single LoyaltyLion account to a single Drip account.

Create Customer Segments

Create customer segments based on loyalty tier, points spent, birthday, and more. See who levels up a tier, who has rewards available, and who has an anniversary so you can send hyper-targeted, relevant messages.

Loyalty Tiers

Tier 1

Segment based on the following loyalty data: 

  • Total Points (approved and pending points): points_total
  • Approved (redeemable) points: points_approved
  • Pending points: points_pending
  • Lifetime points: points_lifetime
  • Spent points: points_spent
  • Number of rewards claimed: rewards_claimed
  • Date enrolled in the program: enroll_date
  • Referral URL: referral_url
  • Loyalty Tier: loyalty_tier
  • Birthday: birthday
  • Insights segment: insights_segment

Uninstall LoyaltyLion

To uninstall the LoyaltyLion <> Drip integration, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your LoyaltyLion account and go to Apps > My Apps > Drip: Email Marketing 
  2. Click Manage the integration 
  3. You’ll be taken to the LoyaltyLion integration page in Drip 
  4. Click Disconnect

The integration will be disconnected. New customers, orders, and revenue will not be shown in Drip.
