Drip offers a functional, lightweight integration that makes it possible to trigger actions in Drip when someone creates or cancels an event in Calendly.
It is practical to send a confirmation email, send a campaign, or send a subscriber down a workflow based on the creation or cancellation of a Calendly event.
Before getting started, you'll need to be on a paid "Premium" level Calendly subscription to get this going.
Integrate Calendly with Drip
In your Drip account, go to Settings > Integrations > Other > Calendly.
Register your Calendly authentication token with Drip. Instructions for finding your Calendly token can be found here.
Currently, you are not able to connect multiple Calendly accounts into one Drip account.
How to Configure a Calendly Trigger in a Drip workflow
You will want to have your Calendly event types already set up in your Calendly account.
In Drip, use the Performed an action in another application trigger.
Calendly event types can then be used to either trigger the start of a workflow or a specific area of a workflow via a Goal.
Now select Calendly as the provider and select the trigger event you would like to use.
Invitee created an event is triggered when someone successfully creates your event through Calendly, and Invitee canceled an event is triggered when someone cancels a previously created Calendly event.
Which Calendly event? Remember this is where you put the event type name that you have created in your Calendly account. Spelling does matter.
Drip will then apply that trigger for you wherever you specified it to go in your workflow.
Calendly Triggers in Basic Rules
Go to Automation > Rules > New Basic Rule and select Calendly as the provider for the rule's trigger. Then select the action that should happen when this rule fires, like apply a tag, for example.
