Spam email has notoriously stuffed inboxes since someone hit “send” on the very first chain letter. We don’t condone spam or abuse emails—in fact, we do everything in our power at Drip to prevent them from ever being sent in the first place.
If you’ve been sent unsolicited emails by someone using a Drip account, we’d love to hear about it. The sooner we can end the spam, the better everyone’s inbox will be.
How to Report Spam to our Abuse Team
You can report spam in the following ways:
- Fill out the form located on our Report Spam page.
- Send the full email headers to spam@drip.com.
- Forward the email to spam@drip.com.
If these options don’t apply to what you’re reporting, please provide as much detail as you can so we can investigate.
Locate Email Headers and Source Code
When our team investigates a complaint it is helpful to have more than the from address, subject line, and body of the message. There is valuable information in the email’s code, like the headers. Our Email Abuse team can use this information to troubleshoot delivery or content problems. Follow the below instructions to locate this information and provide it to us in your Spam report.
The Email's Header
The email header is part of the email’s code that contains important routing information and details about the sender and recipient.
To view the header, you’ll need to download them from your email client. Select your email client from the list below for instructions on how to gather this information.
The Gmail Support link provided documents how to locate the header for the majority of email clients.
The Email's Source Code
The source code contains the HTML that controls the display of the email. It isn’t visible until you download it from your email client.
For the best results search your email client’s knowledge base or documentation resources on how to download the complete file. If you are not able to locate this information our Email Abuse team can assist you in retrieving it.
