Visual content is an effective way of driving home a particular point you're trying to communicate to your readers. Or, if you're trying to sell something to someone you'd probably like to display product images inside of your email.
To access your image gallery, open up any email you've already created in your account, or go ahead and create a new email.
While in the email editor, click on the Image icon to pull up your image gallery.
No matter which of your emails you access your image gallery from, you'll see a collection of every image currently uploaded into your account, including those currently being used in other emails in your account. A central image gallery makes it easier to find the ones you've used in previous emails that you'd like to insert into new emails.
Click on the image you'd like to insert into your email. You should then see the image appear in the content body of your email. Or, click the Upload Images button to upload a new image to your gallery.
There are a few things to keep in mind before uploading images to your gallery:
- Upload images in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.
- You should resize your images to be no larger than 600 pixels in width before uploading them to Drip.
- You can upload multiple images at once.
- Embedded video is not supported.
- We automatically resize images for mobile devices.
- Images are hosted via one of our private AWS buckets.
Images & Links
Images can be turned into links.
In the email editor, click on an image to highlight it. Then, click the link icon to apply a link element to the image element.
When the link modal appears, enter the URL to the webpage you'd like to send anyone who clicks the image.
Take note of how you can apply a regular hyperlink, trigger link, or an expiring link to the image (learn more about links).
You can double-click the image while editing your email under the HTML tab to pull up the image properties.
As you can see, you can resize the image, add a URL, and change different styles from that view.
To delete an image from your gallery, hover over the image you'd like to delete, and click the red trash can icon.
