Delays allow you to specify how long a subscriber should pause at targeted points in your workflows.

Delays allow you to pause subscribers from hitting further steps in your workflow for minutes, hours, or days before allowing them to resume.
Not only can you specify the duration of your delay, you can also select which day of the week and what time the subscriber can continue down the workflow.
The only thing that can pull a subscriber out of a delay early, is if they achieve a downstream goal in the workflow. Here is more information on how delays react to goals.
Here’s a Delay example:
As you can see, there is a delay of 30 minutes before the subscriber will move on to the Flash Sale Campaign. You can use delays to strategically pause subscribers at a particular point in a workflow.
To add a Delay, click the “+” icon wherever you’d like for it to occur in the workflow.
When the modal appears, select the Delay step.
An additional modal will appear so that you can configure the delay’s wait time, the day of the week, and what time it should allow subscribers to resume down the workflow.
You can select days, hours, or minutes when configuring the delays “Wait” time.
