Before you enable this feature, please be aware that it may produce unwanted results for the person replying to your email. For this functionality to work properly, a unique reply-to email address must be generated, such as in the example below. Some email providers like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft see that as suspicious because it's a different reply-to address:
Because of this, email clients will likely produce a warning to the subscriber when they click the reply button. Unless you have the absolute need to track your subscribers' email replies, we suggest you leave this feature disabled.
Business models that can benefit from this feature include:
- Info marketing
Your subscribers will still be able to reply to your emails while this feature is disabled, but Drip will not track your reply metrics.
To enable reply tracking, Go to Settings > Email Setup > Reply Tracking.
Turn the setting to the on position and click the Save Settings button.
Where do email replies get sent?
When a subscriber replies to one of your Drip emails, their reply message goes to the inbox of the 'From' email associated with that correspondence.
