DPD is a digital publishing platform for selling and delivering downloadable content. Customers can upload their products to DPD and start selling immediately.
Drip’s integration with DPD means that any time your Drip account receives data from DPD, Drip will automatically add the customer as a Drip subscriber (if they are not already in your account) and record an event for that subscriber in Drip.
To link Drip with your DPD account:
Step 1. Login to your Drip account and grab your DPD webhook URL from Settings->Integrations->DPD. The URL will have the form:
Step 2. Login to DPD and click “Integrations” in the left navigation. Then look for “Notification URL” at the bottom of the page and click +Add.
Step 3. Check “Enabled” and paste in the webhook URL you copied in step 1.
Step 4. To perform an action any time a customer makes a purchase, create an automation rule with a trigger for the Made a purchase event. Drip will record an event of this type for every item the person purchased via the DPD cart.
