Stripe builds powerful and flexible tools for internet commerce. Whether you have a subscription service, an on-demand marketplace, an ecommerce store, or a crowdfunding platform, Stripe's functionality will ensure the best possible payment experience for your customers. With Drip and Stripe together, you'll be able to trigger your automation steps based on the events you receive from Stripe. Anytime we get data from Stripe, we'll create or update a subscriber based on the event sent in from Drip. From there, you'll be able to stay engaged with your customers throughout the entire purchase cycle.
Any time we receive data from Stripe, we will automatically add the customer as a subscriber (if they are not already in your account) and record an event for that subscriber in Drip.
Step 1: Register your Drip webhook in your Stripe account
In your Drip account, go to Settings > Integrations > Payment Processors > Stripe:
You'll find the web hook you'll need to register in your Stripe account:
Copy and paste your webhook into your Stripe account, under API > Webhooks:
Step 2: Grant Drip read-only access to your Stripe account
Use the buttons on Drip’s Stripe integration page to authorize Drip to access your Stripe data. If you’d like Drip to receive test data from Stripe, be sure to authorize test mode.
Step 3: Set up Automation
Create a trigger in workflow or a basic rule and choose Stripe as the provider. Then, select the specific event that you would like to trigger an action in Drip.
