Maximize your digital marketing campaigns by sending emails out in your subscribers' time zones. In this example, we are going to search only for subscribers that have a saved time zone. Then we'll save them into a reusable segment.
How does Drip gather a subscriber’s time zone?
- Subscriber opts in through a native Drip form.
Note: Subscribers time zone will be updated every time they submit a form or click a link and will update to their current device time zone each time it is submitted.
First, we need to search for the subscribers that have a recognized time zone.
Go to Subscribers > List, then apply the Time zone filter. Just like you see here:
Now that we have returned only those subscribers that have their time zones recognized by Drip, let’s save them into a segment.
Click Save Segment and name it anything you’d like.
Now we have a segment running that will intake any future subscribers that have their time zone set and recognized by Drip.
How to send emails in a subscriber’s time zone
In a campaign, navigate to the campaign settings and make sure that the campaign Time Settings is configured to send in subscriber’s time zone.
When scheduling a broadcast:
If you do not have set time zones for all of your subscribers, Drip will send the email in the account owner’s timezone.
