Send an email to notify specific members of your team each time a subscriber reaches a milestone, like becoming a lead for example. Best of all, you can automate notification emails in Workflows and Rules.
For example, if you're using lead scoring, you might want to send a notification email to someone on your sales team when a subscriber reaches your lead threshold.
Here's how that would look in a workflow:
Notice how a notification email gets sent anytime a subscriber becomes a lead.
This allows your sales team, for instance, to stay current and up to date with qualified leads—in real time.
Workflow notification emails
To set up your notification email, go to your workflow and use the "Send a notification email" action at whatever point you'd like the email to get sent.
Click on the Edit email settings to draft up your notification email and set its recipients.
You'll notice that there is already text drafted up for you. You'll also notice two shortcodes. The "subscriber_fields" shortcode will display any custom field that was collected about the subscriber at the time the notification email was queued up. The "subscriber_profile_link" shortcode is a direct URL back to the subscriber's activity timeline in your account.
Rule notification emails
In Rules, you can send your notification emails in the action step.
Campaign notification emails
Lastly, you can receive a notification email whenever you get a new campaign subscription, or whenever someone unsubscribes from your campaign.
To set that up, go to the campaign you'd like to modify and go to its "Settings" tab. Then, set who the email should get sent to when a new subscription happens.
